Rules for Students

  • Readers must carry their college ID card as well as library card.
  • On arrival in the library, it is necessary to make entry in the register.
  • Readers must not take sticks, umbrellas, briefcases, boxes and other such articles into the Library. The users are advised not to leave expensive items at the property counter.
  • Students must handle books, periodicals, newspapers etc. with great care. Any attempt tearing pages will be treated as misconduct and strictly dealt with matter.
  • Student can avail one book for one week.
  • Avoid loud conversations, disruptive behaviour, and use of the library for non-academic or non-research purposes.
  • Books usage should be renewed after one week or Rs 1 will be charged per day.
  • In case of loss of any book from user, double cost of that book will be charge.
  • Complete Silence & strict discipline must be maintained in the library & reading room.
  • Use of mobile phone in the library is strictly prohibited.
  • Eating, drinking, chewing of tobacco or smoking is strictly prohibited in the library.
  • No library material can be taken out of the library without permission.
