About The Department

Hindi Department was established in July 2003. The objective of our department is to make students aware of their mother tongue and develop excellent proficiency in Hindi language. Apart from academic achievements the department is engaged in various co-curricular activities. To highlight the importance of Hindi language, the department organizes Hindi Week every year during Hindi Diwas. The Hindi Department is committed to enhancing students' ability to communicate effectively.

Aims & Objectives

To make students aware of their mother tongue and develop excellent proficiency in Hindi language.
To develop perspective on literary genres.
To develop reading, writing and communication skills of students.
To get information about the history of ancient, medieval and modern Hindi literature.
To know literary works based on the foundation laid by scholars.
To acquire information about literary theory.
To develop perspective on Hindi linguistics and grammar.
Applying literature and language concepts.
